How do you respond to fundamentalist christians that use the Bible to justify violence in Palestine?
Post Body

This is a serious question, I feel like I'm in a losing conversation with folks who are fundamentalist christians or right winged / conservative evangelicals who time and time again use the Bible and use their theology and end time doctrine to justify, be apathetic towards, or outright support the violence and occupation against Palestine. They won't listen to "secular" means of discussion and so I'm trying to find sources with a 'biblical' lens that historically and culturally contextualized the Bible through a middle Eastern perspective but also is in defense of Palestine and can give a biblical basis for why it's important to pay attention.

Personally, I don't think the Biblical argument used has any real grounds and believe that religious discourse has often been the curtain that violent colonization hides behind but I still feel like resources are necessary and important to have if wanting to get a foot in the door and have these important conversations.

I don’t.

Not because I don’t care, but because I recognize that there is literally nothing I can say that will change their mind.
