My bun was spayed on the 27th and the vet said to restrict her movements for the next 14 days so i figured I’d set up an x-pen for her while she heals. the thing is she has gotten SO depressed being stuck there (she was previously free roamed) & tries to make a run for it every time the door is opened. I try to move the pen near where I happen to be & even take naps in there with her (the things i do for her) since she usually sticks by me but that doesn’t seem to be helping. would I be giving her too much space if i open up the pen & allow her to roam the living room for a bit? I want to call the vet tomorrow to ask but i figured I’d come here and see what other people are doing.
