First of all - wow! Thank you so much for all the support and donations. We've more than covered our own vet costs and will be sending on the extra to the rescue who are taking them next so they can be neutered and rehomed.
All eight rabbits are now in temporary foster space while other rescues get ready to take them long term. We'll be transferring them next weekend.
Yesterday all the buns got seen by our vets for an initial health check and vaccinations. Happily, given the condition we found them in, they're in surprisingly good health besides being very underweight. Two have eye drops for mild conjunctivitis, but so far no other concerns. Our vet helped to trim off some matted and poo-filled fur, and gave them a good look over. The females aren't displaying any signs of being pregnant (yet...) so we've got our fingers crossed there.
As requested, pictures of them all: https://imgur.com/a/tBt9RkE
We're still running the fundraiser to help cover neutering and other costs before they get adopted into loving forever homes: https://www.gofundme.com/f/urgent-rabbit-rescue-appeal
