Im sobbing as I write this because no one understands how it feels to lose a bunny whom you bonded to. Yesterday I took my bunny outside for a quick little hop around and after bringing him inside he seemed very sleepy. I didn’t think much of it and I had to head to work. I noticed he was sleeping weirdly and facing directly towards his little living pen. When I turned him around to give him a kiss there was a puddle of wetness in front of him. I thought it was his nose so I cuddled and let him go. After that I went to my closing restaurant shift and crashed at my boyfriends. This morning my mom called me and said she found him lifeless. My boyfriend is speed racing me home but I feel so fucking guilty. I have no idea how this could of happened and I should have known something was wrong and taken him to the vet. He was only two and a very healthy and happy bunny so I am beyond distraught. Any words of encouragement or similar experiences would be much appreciated. His name was Bongo and he was the sweetest bunny to ever live.
