Best vacuums for bunny areas in your experience

So I have to replace my household vacuum anyway, and I wanted to ask which ones you guys have had success with in terms of cleaning your bun's area (carpet/rug). I really need something strong because there are little hay pieces, litter (corn) pieces, food granules, etc. I also live in an apartment with old carpet so it's even harder to suck up the debris. If you have any recommendations, please suggest them!
