I’m 90% sure this is molting?

Post Body

So this is still my first year having him and the fur has been getting everywhere lately, but just in the past 2 days it’s gotten nuts. I noticed a obvious fur string in his poo yesterday, so I’ve been working at brushing and finger plucking his fur a bunch today. Just a bit ago a couple chunks came out super easy leaving him with some patches. I feel like I have heard this can happen with a heavy molt but this is new for us 😅

He’s been his usual energetic and cuddly self, eating and drinking good, using the bathroom like normal, and didn’t seem much bothered with the plucking other than giving me the look he normally does when I’m poking at his butt. So, I’m not too worried but figured I’d quick double check with you all to see if a vet call in the morning might be needed
