Hello everyone!! I've had some questions come up I was hoping you could help me with:
my hands are constantly dry in the winter so I'm often putting on hand cream. I've been saving my scented ones for when I'm at work and trying to get away with doing one big moisturize at the end of the night after he's in his pen for the evening but my skin is not happy. Could I still pet him after moisturizing but waiting until it's all absorbed in?
sometimes I get face licks which is super cute but should I not allow them after I've put on sunscreen or moisturizer? I use a chemical sunscreen on my face so I worry it may be harmful if he ingests it.
I've had to start putting a sheet over his pen at night because he somehow managed to jump over the 3' tall sides of his x pen 🤦♀️ I'd also been covering one side of his pen with a blanket at night because if I don't he rattles the door trying to get out and keeps me up (the blanket blocks vision to most of the living room & my bed). My question here is is it dangerous to have only one side of his pen fully open to the air because of ammonia? The two other sides are about an half an inch from the wall but not covered. Sorry if this is confusing... I can add pictures when I am home tonight. But basically: two sides uncovered but close to a wall, one side open air to about 4' of space, one side covered by a blanket, the top covered by a sheet.
(I'd keep him free roam all the time but my bunny proofing is not 100% up to par and as displayed by his 3' jumps over a wall he couldn't see over, he can be extremely determined.)
Bun tax added!!
