Post Body

Hello all,

So I've recently become a bunny owner and I just wanted to ask for some pointers. The bunny is question, looks really young and was definitely dumped ( w/ it's mom and siblings...I think since there's like bunnies everywhere now).

As of now, the bunny is free range, in a room with my brother and a cage I bought from Petco. The employees said it was good to house them in the cage, but I quickly learned that was a no - so it's with my brother so it can have space since I have 4 cats.

Anyway, here are my questions:

  1. How do I bathe the bunny?
  2. What shots are required?
  3. Is there anyway to tell what breed the bunny is?
  4. How would you introduce the bunny to cats?
  5. Does animal control take care of illegal rabbit dumping in California?
  6. Does the bunny need to be neutered and what's the ideal age?
