I recently started RMO about a month ago now. Been getting the half pound bags and they’re lasting me about 8 or 9 days. About 2 months ago I had gotten up to a pack and a half a day. Not gonna go into reasons why but I knew I needed to cut back. For the sake of finances and health obviously. Got down to a pack but the cost kept going up. Enter a friend from work who introduced me to this world.

First brand, Gambler red. Used Gambler tubes. It had a decent taste. As far as sweet or any other flavors? Y’all have heard them all I’m sure but it was bland to me. Dried out quickly and by the time I was at the end of the bag it was dust. Doubt I go back to that one.

Second I bought Cherokee red. Used the gambler tubes half way and then gambler top cut tubes. Cherokee was a good slow smoke. It was around this bag that I realized I didn’t like the tubes I was using. My friend let me use some of his shargio red tubes. I like the draw I get. Thin paper but still burned fairly slow. Keeping in mind I’m still learning how to roll too. But the Cherokee was pretty harsh on my throat. No coughing but it just tasted bad. Didn’t like it.

Now I’m smoking on Ohm red. Using the Gambler Top cut tubes. From the time I opened that bag I knew I wanted one of these. It tasted so good. I had to go to my friends and let him taste this. Given I’m using a tube I don’t really like. It was still a good smoke. I wanted to roll one with a shargio tube. And when I smoked that I knew even more I like this tobacco.

Any suggestions are welcome. I was a Marlboro red smoker for years.

But I’m loving the fact I’ve actually cut back on how much I smoke. Plus spending around 2-3 bucks a pack. Beats the shit out of 7-8 bucks.
