Hey Yall. So on Monday I picked up the rx8 I posted about last week. Thaks to you I knew to get the compression test, results were 6.5 on 1 side and 7 on the other, according to what they said, that is exceptionally good for an 05 rx8 with 65k. Soo let me list the things I do to keep the car happy, and you let me know if I'm missing anything.

1. Add 4-8oz of racing oil every time I fill up.
2. Redline a day keeps mechanic away. I'm definitely good at this one.
3. Cruise on the streets around 4000 rpm
4. Shifting, so 1st gear 1-15, 2nd 15-30, 3rd 30-45, 4th 45-60. 5th is pretty much for highway only, 6th is in reserve for 100mph plus.
5. Check oil every week.
6. Let warm up 5minutes before driving, depending on how cold of course.
7. No short drives.
8. DRIFT
9. Dont try to race mustangs and corvettes🤦‍♂️

Love the car, super fun to drive. But the fact that it's slower than my v6 accord is driving me nuts. What kind of mods do you recommend to increase performance? Without compromising reliability too much.
