Can't get the DSC and Stability lights to reset after resetting the ECU

So I've followed all the proper procedures, and I have been able to clear the DSC and stability lights before when having to reset the ECU but for some reason I can't get them to go away now. Occasionally they won't be on when I start the car and I can still manually turn the DSC off but after a few minutes both lights typically come back on. Any ideas what might be going on? ECU problem? DSC sensor issues maybe?
