This team is my second best team in my eyes, I have another but I might wait to post them. For now enjoy team Violet the color of royalty and nobility.

Name: Vanora Rosewood

Color (Theme): Browns/Reds as primary color, and Whites as secondary color.

Allusion: Vanora is based of royalty and nobility.

Affiliation: Vanora is the leader of Team VYLT (Violet which is a royal color) and is a second year student at Atlas Academy.

Symbol: Vanora’s symbol is of two white deer antlers with a single white diamond in the middle.

Appearance: Vanora has a very trim and lean body type, her posture being refined yet relaxed at times. Her hair is long and worn down most of the time, usually it looks slightly wild though only enough to give her that adventurer look. Her outfit consists of a brown leather corset, the kind that goes up to the chest instead of ending just below it. Under this she wears a white swordsman shirt with the collar ties loosened. For leggings she wears a darker brown set of leather horse riding pants with knee high lace up leather horse riding boots of light brown color similar to the corset. Lastly she wears a pair of forearm length brown leather riding gloves. As for her faunus trait she has a pair of small deer antlers protruding from her forehead that sweep back instead of sticking out or up.

Background/History: Vanora, like everyone else on her team, was born into a noble Atlas family. But because of her family being much older than most they prefered to shy away from the newer tech in favor of keeping with the family traditions and way of life. So Vanora grew up learning many noble skills such as horse riding, fencing, and politics. However at around the age of 10 she was given the opportunity to travel the world with her grandfather. This experience ended up creating her love of nature which she never would have developed if she had stayed in the cold frozen lands of Atlas. Eventually her and her grandfather had to return because his health was declining, she was 15 at the time and had learned much about the world in those 5 years she was away. She also learned much about fighting grimm and how to control her aura from her grandfather who was a retired huntsman. Because of this her grandfather decided to call up a few old friends and get her admitted into one of the training schools. She was ecstatic about it and after saying her goodbyes she went off to school to become a huntress and be just like her grandfather. Now she's working on her second year of huntsman training at Atlas academy, honing her skills and working towards becoming a fully fledged huntress.

Personality: Vanora is a strong spirited and adventurous woman, yet because of her noble upbringing she does have a refined and regal edge to her that gives her the patience and determination to succeed. She isn't strict yet she isnt lenient, she will drive her team members to be the best they can be but she understands that they have limits and she will adjust her role as a leader to accommodate those limits. She cares about her team and treats them all as equals, and sometimes she will even give the position of team leader to one of them if they seem like they are better suited to the task at hand. She knows her flaws and would never risk her team's safety by tackling a situation she isn't prepared for or trained for. She does have a bit of a temper and she can be a bit blunt at times but she does try to make up for any mistakes she does. Occasionally she does doubt herself as a leader and as a huntress, mostly cause she keeps trying to fill her grandfather's shoes when she should be striving to be her own huntress. All in all she is the type of person who wants the best for their friends, has doubts concerning their own skills, and is always trying to be someone they're not when they should be trying to be themself.

Weapon: Dove and Birch are Vanora’s dueling cavalry saber and dueling pistol parry dagger. Dove is a antique looking cavalry saber used for dueling, it has an ornate deer antler style D guard made of brass with a stained cherrywood handle. It's blade is made of feather pattern damascus steel and embedded in it's pommel is an air dust crystal that covers the blade in a sheath of wind that increases it's cutting power. Next is Birch, Vanora’s off hand parrying dagger that has a built in dueling pistol for long range combat. The blade of this dagger has a number of slots cut into its length, this is so the user can catch their opponents blade with the dagger and as an added feature the pistol's barrel is on the same side as the slots meaning Vanora can load in a fire dust bullet before hand and fire at the trapped blade thus weakening the metal to allow her to break it with her dagger. The blade of the dagger is made of wood grain damascus, the brass guard is also in the shape of a deer antler. The handle of the dagger is also made of cherrywood and embedded in the pommel of this dagger is a fire dust crystal which engulfs the blade in a hot white flame to increase the chance of weakening any blade caught in the daggers slots. Lastly the trigger for the pistol is located at the end of the handle since she wields the dagger in a traditional backhand grip.

Aura/Semblance: Nature's Boon is Vanora’s ability to call on the different aspects of nature. She can call upon the aid of different animals, though commanding an animal she hasn't gained the trust of first will require significantly more aura. But the main use of this semblance comes from her ability to call on the plants to aid her in battle. She can summon roots and vines to grab at her foes or create barriers to protect her from strong attacks. This ability costs less aura since the plants aren't sentient, though she can expend more aura to allow the plants to grow bigger and stronger for a better defence or offence. Lastly she prefers not to use her semblance because it puts the plants and animals in danger. As for her aura color it is an earthy red color.

Fighting Style: Vanora uses a basic fencing style of fighting when it comes to using just her sabre, preferring a balance of offence and defence when fighting. But when the need arises she will switch to dual wielding her dagger and sabre, when she does this she will act more aggressive with her sabre attacks while her dagger will act as her main form of defence and counter attack. Her main weakness is her lack of focus in this state, because she has to use two weapons at once she cant focus as well since multitasking isn't really an actual skill. Best thing to do is find a way to distract her or overwhelm her in this state. As for her single weapon state the best way to defeat her is to wear her down with multiple heavy hitting attacks since she lacks any proper defence the constant blows will weaken her arms and cause her to tire out. All in all she is a balanced fighter when using one weapon but upon bringing out her second weapon she becomes less focused and tends to make more mistakes.

Symbol: Yonah’s symbol is a silver spear with a ribbon wrapping around its length.

Appearance: Yonah, despite her intense and constant training, has a somewhat pudgy/pear shape type of body giving her a much softer look. Her skin is also a creamy pale color thanks to all the time she spent inside her family's mansion. Her hair is very long, reaching just below her posterior and it is always worn down or loosely tied with a ribbon. As for her outfit, it consists of a snow white winter coat and skirt piece with silver accents that has fur lining the hood and the cuffs of the jacket. Under that she wears a pair of silver colored tights that end in a pair of comfy looking white snow boots with silver accents and fur around the top. She also wears a silver necklace with an icey blue crystal hanging off of it. Lastly she wears a simple silver colored belt around the coat. As for her faunus trait she has a single fluffy bunny tail. Yonah's outfit design. The one on the left.

Background/History: Yonah was born into a noble family that was considered highly traditional and strict. Immediately after being born Yonah was to be a huntress, she was kept within her home almost all of her life so that she could dedicate all her time to training and studying. Because of this she was always alone, her servants and parents never really forming bonds with her since they believed it would interfere with her training. The main reason they are so keen on her becoming a huntress is because every female in their family was a warrior, and because they are very keen on keeping with tradition they basically raise all females to be huntresses. But Yonah found a way to make friends through her semblance and mostly used it for this purpose in secret. Eventually when she was old enough she was sent off to attend combat school where she had trouble making friends. But upon graduating and being sent to Atlas academy she was put on a team thus giving her a better opportunity to make friends. Now she and her team are working hard to make it through their second year of school, hoping to gain the skills they need to make their families proud.

Personality: Yonah is a very soft spoken and quiet girl, and while she isn't mute she rarely speaks. Usually preferring to nod, shake her head, or have her animated ice sculptures do the talking for her. Most of the time she can be seen daydreaming, almost as if her mind is in a whole other place. She is also by far the most shy of the group, usually hiding behind her teammates when the need for social interaction arises, but when she is just with her teammates she can be somewhat playful and childish. This is thanks to all the time she spent alone with no real role model or parental figure to show her what it's like to be an adult. Yonah is the type of girl who tries to make those she cares about happy, she can always be seen tending to all her teammates and trying her hardest to ease any burdens they have. Because of this it's easy to see that she means well but her kindness has been taken advantage of by other students and if it wasn't for her teammates more people might have taken advantage of her good nature. Lastly because of her upbringing she is always trying to please those around her, she doesn't take failure very well and will blame such failures on her own actions. All in all Yonah is the sweet and innocent type of girl who carries a heavy burden on her shoulders and because of this burden she is always scared of failing or messing up, and until she learns to let others help her carry that burden she will never reach her full potential.

Weapon: Lunar Tears is the name of Yonah’s rope darts and rope dart spear. The base form of the secondary rope darts are medium sized silver dart shaped tips attached to thinner white and silver ribbons, theses are used in conjunction with her main rope dart spear. As for the base form of the main rope dart it's tip is a silver dual edge blade with white gold inlays. Attached to this silver spear head is a strong snow white ribbon made of graphene and running down it's length are silver glyphs that serve no other purpose other than looks. However after her and her team attended the Vytal festival and fought in the battle of Beacon parts of her snow white ribbon have been stained red by one of her team members blood after she wrapped the wounds up and stopped the bleeding with her ribbons ability to stiffen up and harden thus acting like a cast. Now the second form of her weapon is brought about by her ribbon coiling into a rod shape before stiffening and hardening to form a spear shaft around the silver blade thus turning it into a spear. When in this form the spear measures in at about 6ft long and it can be extended for extra reach when thrusting. However her ribbon does have a limit and the spear can only extend by about a foot or more when in spear form. Lastly her ribbon can be used as a weapon as well, though it's primarily used to ensnare or trip her foes and when her weapon is not in use, the ribbons, wrap around her right arm covering it entirely.

Aura/Semblance: Winter's Embrace is Yonah’s ability to create and animate ice sculptures to act as an aid in battle. Now depending on the size of said sculpture the amount of aura needed to create and animate it will vary. As for the strength and durability of these sculptures they are made up of Blue Ice which is considered to be the hardest of all the glacier ice types so they are considerably durable yet very weak to fire based attacks.The strength of these sculptures depends on the size and shape but they are naturally stronger than most average huntsmen and huntresses. Now the intelligence and sentience of these sculptures is all dependent on Yonah’s imagination and aura reservers. She could make a sculpture with the same sentience as a human if she pours enough of her aura into the ice. But said sculpture cannot act independently, it needs constant commands from it's creator to do anything. Yes she can command it to fight and it will but unless told otherwise it will keep fighting even when the fighting is over. All in all this semblance is very versatile and strong but because it's weak to fire based attacks and because she must command the sculpture this limits the number of sculptures she can make.

Fighting Style: Yonah's fighting style is more geared towards offensive moves, when she fights she tends to space out and let her mind go blank. She will most likely go in with her rope dart, preferring the quick surprising style of fighting to start the battle off. But if need be she can activate the spear mode and go in for a more precise and deadly form of attack. In this mode she prefers to use the spear to sweep across the battlefield tripping her foes or just hitting them with blunt force to disorient them. But if her foe proves to be to agile for this tactic she will switch to a more head on form of attack, going for rapid thrust attacks while also loosening the ribbon to extend and bend the pole for a more fluid method of attack. However she lacks a solid defence aside from her semblance which again requires a lot of concentration regarding commands. So the best way to beat her is to draw her focus away from commanding her sculptures and get in for close range combat to make her weapon practically useless. All in all Yonah is the teams DPS dealer who is weak to up close attacks and distractions.

Name: Lucas Aubergine

Color (Theme): Whites, and purples.

Allusion: Lucas is based off royalty and nobility.

Affiliation: Lucas is a member of Team VYLT (Violet which is a royal color) and is a second year student at Atlas Academy.

Age: 19Gender: MaleSpecies: HumanHeight/Weight: 5’8 and 135lbEye/Hair/Skin Color: Lucas’s eyes are a deep purple color, his hair is blackish purple color with a streak of snow white in it, and his skin is a naturally light tan color.

Symbol: Lucas’s symbol is a purple playing card with a broken moon inside.

Appearance: Lucas has a lean and fit body type,with somewhat new looking scars covering the area where his arms used to be. His hair is long, about shoulder length and is always kept down in a style that sometimes obscures parts of his face. Originally his hair was short but that changed after the battle of beacon when he let it grow out. His outfit consists of a white short sleeve compression shirt with purple accents and his symbol on the back. His lower half is covered by a pair of white baggy military esque combat pants with purple accents, they are tucked into his lace up white hiking boots. Lastly he wears ribbon like wraps around both of his arms, these ribbons resemble the ones used by his teammate Yonah and they completely cover his two prosthetic arms which end at where his shoulders used to be.

Background/History: Lucas was born into a regular family, his father being a butcher and his mother an artist. During his younger years he fell for a noble girl named Luna Aubergine, and even though her parents didn't really see the relationship as anything special they allowed her to be with him. But when Lucas was around 10 years old his village was attacked by grimm. It had been an unusually warm year and that allowed the grimm to reach his home and destroy most of it. At the time of the attack he was waiting near a frozen lake waiting for Luna to arrive so they could spend the day together. But as night fell he assumed she had been busy and he returned to his village only to find it in ruin. Aside from his own family having been slaughtered he noticed that Luna was also there during the attack, most likely passing through to say hi to his family before heading off to the lake. So after this Lucas was basically orphaned and had no place to go, but because of his ties with Luna’s family they decided to adopt him and make him their son since their only child was gone and Lucas had lost his family. After becoming part of the family Lucas swore to make the family proud as a way of repaying their kindness, and how he did that was by taking his anger and hatred towards grimm to become a huntsman. Upon graduating and becoming a second year student at Atlas Lucas had grown much, but not as much as the day Beacon fell. During the battle of Beacon Lucas was caught fighting a number of grimm and as he was being overwhelmed his original weapon the Lunar Wheel, was destroyed. Along with losing his weapon he was left defenceless and had to block an incoming attack from an Alpha Beowolf. This resulted in his arms getting ripped off right near the top of the armpit. Thankfully before he could bleed out Yonah and the rest of his team found him and kept him from dying. This is why Yonah's ribbons are stained with blood. After this event Lucas changed a lot, instead of sulking he began rigorous physical training, deep meditation, and even practiced in Savate or french kickboxing to accommodate for his lack of arms. When he had finished his recovery and therapy his adoptive parents celebrated the event by gifting him a set of prosthetic atlesian tech arms built specifically for him. Since he had already come to terms with his new condition and gotten over the trauma he accepted the gift. Eventually returning to his teammates and resuming their adventures.

Personality: Lucas is a somewhat childish and joking boy, seeming more at ease and always happy. He enjoys brightening people's day and honestly making them happy. He seems like he doesn't like to dwell on the past or let the bad stuff in life get to him. But deep down he is constantly reminded of the day he lost his home and the day he lost his arms. He used to be depressed about it a lot, though he never confided in his teammates about it. Preferring to keep up his happy act so that they never felt as down as he did. But after taking the time to meditate and train he slowly started to switch his view on the tragedies that befell him, and soon he used those tragedies as fuel. Using what happened to drive him to be better and stronger, however his drive can lead him to making mistakes and failures. Lucas is the kind of person who won't give up even if it's beneficial to him and his team to give up. He is stubborn and feels like running away or failing isn't what those he lost would want him to do. Lucas is a troubled yet optimistic person, and after his rehab he started to believe that there will always be something to fight for and that not everything is as bad as it seems. All in all Lucas is that kinda, lovable goofball who always has something wise to say, yet he is also struggling with the past and battling his demons. Because of this he has yet to reach his full potential and grow as a person.

Weapon: New Moons is the name of Lucas’s dual atlesian tech prosthetic arms. Both of which are made of a graphene and titanium mix making them both light and very durable. Both arms come with a built in deck container that resides in the elbow and shoulder thus allowing Lucas to have access to four different decks at a time, two for each arm. When the decks are loaded into the arms the internal scanner will find the most suitable card to use during combat. This is done by using the arms connection to the brain to analyze any battle information being perceived and using it to determine the best choice of weapon, armor, projectile, or creature card. But Lucas can manually choose which card he wants used by sending a command to the arms mentally or verbally. When a card is chosen the arms will select the card from its respective deck and send it through a delivery mechanism in the arm which leads to a thin slot on the palm of the hand. If the card is a projectile card then it will be fired straight from the hand, if it's a melee weapon then it'll be delivered into the hand, if it's an armor card then it will either be delivered into the hand or fired onto the ground, or if it's a creature card then it will be fired onto the ground or into the air. Each card is hand drawn by Lucas and their abilities are a product of his semblance being activated when they are drawn. Afterwards they can be used without the activation of his semblance, as long as they have a charge that is. Lastly his arms can be used as basic unarmed weapons but he tries to avoid that since the arms are stronger than his original arms and he has yet to learn how to control their strength.

Aura/Semblance: Gift of the Moon is Lucas’s ability to give any drawing he creates while his semblance is active the power to gain a physical form. Upon being drawn a bit of his aura is poured into the drawing, but depending on the complexity of the item and it's size more aura may be taken from him, this aura is used as a fuel source and will allow the drawing to be given physical form for about a minute. Lucas can pour more of his aura into the drawing afterwards to increase the duration of its physical form but again, the more complex and large items will require more aura. When changed into physical form the drawings will look as if they are made of sparkling moonlight or if drawn with dust infused ink they appear to be made of colored moonlight that matches the dust type used. A few downsides to this semblance is that he cant create physical versions of things he doesn't fully understand, like he cant create a robot unless he understands how all of its parts work. Another downside is that he cannot create drawings of other humans or huntsmen. This is because it requires almost a year's worth of him draining his aura into the image to have even a minutes worth of energy for the image to use. So unless he gets a major aura boost he cannot summon humans. Lastly if a card is used he can recharge it during battle to use it again, he can also use other surfaces and writing tools to create drawings on the fly if he runs out of cards, and his aura color is purple.

Fighting Style: Originally lucas had a more speed oriented fighting style but now that he has new prosthetic arms with increased strength his style has changed some. Now Lucas has a more head strong style, using his new strength to hopefully overpower his opponent with a flurry of strong precise attacks. Most of the time he will stick with using a dual sword construct but thanks to his large arsenal of weapons he can change how he fights on a dime. This does not mean he is skilled in the use of these weapons and armor, it just means he can use them to surprise his foe or acquire the right weapon for the job. His allies can also make use of his constructs once they are activated. His main weaknesses are running out of cards to summon things with, or disabling his arms. One way is by jamming the card slots on his palms or by applying enough force to the card holsters in his elbows and shoulders to jam them. Lastly he can be easily tricked into using the wrong weapon if his foe is smart enough and manipulative enough.

Notes/Trivia: Lucas was originally Liseran Pictor, my first ever OC and a self insert. Now he’s been redone to where he’s not a self insert, not the leader of the group, and more relatable.

Name: Talia Irides

Color (Theme): Basic Whites, Blues, Blacks, and Iridescent colors.

Allusion: Talia is loosely based off Homunculi, primarily the ones in the Fate/ series. She is also based off royalty just like the rest of her teammates.

Affiliation: Talia is part of team VYLT and is a second year student at Atlas.

Age: 19Gender: FemaleSpecies: HumanHeight/Weight: 5’3 and 135lbEye/Hair/Skin Color: Talia’s eyes are a crimson red color, her hair is snow white, and her skin is an almost unnaturally pale color.

Symbol: Her symbol is a Dove whose wings are in the shape of ice skate blades.

Appearance: Talia wears a slim form fitting iridescent colored ice skating outfit that covers her arms and ends in a skirt that ends just above her knees. Her body type is slim and lean with most of her muscle lying in her legs. Her hair is long and always worn in a tight elegant braid, her skin is near perfect with no blemishes or marks of any kind. Lastly she gives off an air of beauty and grace.

Background/History: Talia was born into a noble family who was quite new to being noble. This meant she didn't have as strict of an upbringing as some of her other teammates. Instead she grew up with a fair amount of freedom which she spent on ice skating. A sport she loved immensely and she was very good at it as well. She was a child prodigy in the sport, winning a number of awards, medals, and trophies.However this wasn't enough for her and she kept improving and getting better, some would say that she just kept picking up momentum and just wouldn't stop trying to improve and overwhelm her competitors. Eventually she hit a limit to how good she could get at ice skating and her drive to be better slowly died out. It wasn't till she discovered an old photo album of her parents during their time at Atlas that she regained that spark to be good at something. She was around 12 when this happened and knew some things about huntsmen but not enough to be interested in it. But after finding pictures of her parents and their team she quickly became interested and started researching and learning everything she could about the profession. Within a year she convinced her parents to get her into one of the beginner schools and now she is a second year student at Atlas.

Personality: Talia has a very optimistic and headstrong kinda personality, her determination to always be the one on top and always be number one is never ending. She jumps into things without thinking, she believes that she is better than most of her peers, and she refuses to give up even if she is literally seconds from dying. She is also highly intelligent and quick when learning, but her natural raw talent can only get her so far. All in all, Talia is the kind of woman who will accept any and all challenges believing she will come out on top, she is the type to act on her own, and because of her minor god complex she can never grow past her natural limits. So unless she learns to let others help and do things for her she will eventually destroy herself beyond repair.

Weapon: Chione’s Blade is Talia’s unique pair of ice skates, both blades are hooked up to a type of rail system that lets them change their location depending on what Talia needs them for. They also have an interchangeable dust edge function that enables Talia to skate on different surfaces or create ice surfaces for her to skate on. The position changing rails allows her to shift her blades to her arms, hands, heel, tip of the feet, elbows, and knees. This is all thanks to a slim and high tech exoskeletal harness that she wears over top her skating outfit. Lastly her skating outfit is lined with multiple threads of dust infused material which is the reason for the iridescent color and because of this she can cast dust based projectiles if she requires the use of ranged combat.

Aura/Semblance: Defining Moment is Talia’s ability to drain the momentum from any object she can physically see till it comes to a full stop, after that she can transfer the momentum she drained from said object to anything that is moving. The size of the object will determine how long it will take to drain all the momentum and it will determine the amount of strain that much energy will put on her body while she contains/stores it. One downside to this ability is that once the momentum is transferred to another object said object cannot be stopped until all the momentum is used up, that and exceeding ones natural speed limit can cause severe muscle and bone damage. But aside from that this ability can increase the amount of force behind Talia’s attacks and it can make her projectiles even more destructive. Lastly her aura is a royal blue color.

Fighting Style: Talia’s fighting style is quick, precise, and geared towards ending conflicts as soon as possible. It can also be a bit flashy and fancy at times since she loves to show off and act like she is better than the person she is fighting. She will mainly use kick based attacks, focusing on increasing the momentum of her blades for maximum effectiveness. Her primary attacks being ax kicks with the blade affixed to her heel to form an actual ax when kicking. When she cant use kick based attacks she can focus on precise and deadly elbow slashes as well as single bladed wolverine like claw attacks. Lastly her main weakness is taunting and being upstaged, making her lose her haughty and regal nature will leave her open to attacks thanks to her loss of composure. So all in all she is a quick and deadly fighter who becomes vulnerable when someone breaks through her composed and haughty outer shell.
