TL;DR - I made a RWBY team, all based on 80's horror icons. Who's your team and what are they inspired by?

So, a while back a friend and I wrote an RPG for RWBY and had so much fun doing it that we decided to start coming up with our own teams to use in the same kinda set up (We didn't write the system, just the setting). Anyway, we started brainstorming ideas on what we could go with and decided to try and follow as many RWBY tropes as possible. So every character had to be based on something, they couldn't be entirely original there had to be some obvious inspiration. Ideally the teams would all be connected by a common theme (Team RWBY being fairy tales, Team JNPR being the gender swapped disguises of mythological and historical figures, etc). Every character had to have a name that either was a colour or at least evoked one, and the team acronym had to do the same. So, with that in mind, I built this team, enjoy.

Team NIHT (Pronounced Night)

Nick Clearwater (Predator)

Semblance - Invisibility

Weapon - Set of homing chakrams (circular boomerangs) and a spear that morphs into a plasma rifle (think Neptune's trident)

Isabella Noche (Freddy Krueger)

Semblance - Terror Vision (she makes her target see a hallucination of their deepest, darkest fear, only affects one target at a time, requires concentration)

Weapon - Set of bladed gloves, the middle fingers of which act as grappling hooks.

Helena Black (Xenomorph)

Semblance - Retribution (Any damage she takes, so long as she is aware of the source, is dealt to the one who dealt it to her initially as well)

Weapon - Pistol and spiked whip

Tommy Chrystal (Jason Voorhees)

Semblance - Immortal (Aura regenerates faster than normal and his body is more resistant to damage than most)

Weapon - Machete.
