Or at least take a third party route. This could is just a theory, but i think eventually Neo is going to do her best to find a way to take out Salem (try being the key word, i don't know if she's going to succeed or not, probably not). I've been thinking a lot about her.

We all know she hates Ruby, but it's clear she hates Cinder too. After all, Neo tracked her down in season 4, and probably would have killed her if Cinder hadn't maiden'd up. I don't think Neo would forgive Cinder that easily, in fact i think it's pretty clear that it's more of 'kill the ruby pact' I think before she learned about everything Neo went into hiding to strengthen herself and her semblance in preparation for performing this, although back then she only thought it was team CME (N) (i know that's not their team name but godamn that jokes too lowbrow not to use).

But then she learns about Salem. Cinder is just working for someone, and this bitch brought about the events that led directly to Roman's death, *especially* if she can control grimm. So i think that

1.) after killing ruby, or maybe just before, Neo is going to backstab Cinder. the only reason i think she *hasn't* yet is because i'm fairly certain left that part of the explanation out. I'm fairly certain killing Cinder in her sleep wouldn't be too hard.

2) After that, she's going to do her best to dismantle Salem. Not of out the goodness of her heart or world peace or whatever, but just out of bloodlust. I could easily see her trying to just hunt down watts, Tyrian etc and trying to kill them too, to whatever degrees of success that might bring.

I think in the end shell be the third party that just hates both sides and wants the world go back to the good old days of robbing dust shops and becoming the underground lord.
