Is it bad for me to still be on Ruby's side after this?

Hear me out. I've been hearing a lot of review saying Ruby is wrong, Yang is right, Ren's comments are spot on, etc. I honestly think Ruby was trying her best to hold everyone together and to be the best leader she could be. Maybe the writing has gone a little bust, but I still think Ruby has a point.

I will agree with Ren that they didn't really have a plan. Most of them are inexperienced, but there are almost no other capable professional huntsmen around. Unfortunately, the job of saving the world comes down to a bunch of kids. But I still think that Ironwood could at least try to rescue the people of Mantle and incorporate it into his plan.

Maybe I am a little naive, and I am willing to listen to critics. I only ask for civil discussion.
