Clicking coming from AC unit???
Post Body

I was awoken this morning by a clicking noise coming from my AC unit and my AC suddenly turning on and off. It would stop for a few minutes, and then start clicking and turning on and off over and over. I check and my thermostat was set to have everything off. I took the thermostat off the wall and unplugged it from all connections and took out the batteries but it continued to click. I then turned off the breaker to my AC unit and it stopped turning off and on but the clicking continued. The clicking is coming from the relay box. I checked the fuse inside the relay box and it looked fine. I can’t get it stop clicking, and I’m a little worried. Anyone have any ideas? I have called my repair man but he won’t be able to come until Monday.
