hi, first post here but I'm hoping someone can give me some advice or help. My partner and I bought a brand new 2020 Coachman Freedom Express trailer earlier this summer. Since we got it it has been a nightmare. the issues started on our way back from Michigan. We got a great deal on it and a truck from a dealer in Michigan and drove down to pick it up with plans to camp with it over night on the way back. the trip out from picking it up to our campsite was great no problems at all. when we get on the road the next day though we start having all sorts of problems. The first being smoking coming from the breaks so we pull over. my first thought is the break away wire tripped, I checked that and nope no issues there, I reconnected all the wiring thinking something just had shaken loose and we get on our way, but now the trailer breaks aren't responding and I have no gain control in the truck. I also started to get an error msg from the truck saying trailer wiring fault and the trailer saying its disconnected from the truck. We still had lights so I though lets fix it when we get home. so we get home to Virginia and go park the trailer and take it into get repaired. Now I'm getting told by the service technician all the breaks need replaced and coachman is trying to blame it on me. I don't know what to do I've been fighting with them for 2 months now and my partner and I just want to go camping. please any help or advice would be appreciated.
