I would like to know if there are any temporary fixes for the seal around the toilet flapper. Mine is not sealing properly therefore letting septic smell in. The new seal will be here tomorrow. Anything will help.

I happened to have some that I use for work. I tried it and it still is not sealing correctly. It seem like it slowed the water from draining as fast though.
