OR we should remove another player slot and take it down to 22 which is a significantly worse option IMO.
I've been playing very close attention since we disabled that 24th slot and there's a HUGE increase in the number of team stacking assholes who jump ship from their team the minute they lose a point or something. Having uneven teams to begin with it pretty unfair, but the fact that the plugin you guys use for autobalance doesn't correct teams when they're 13 v 10 until after the end of the round is pretty annoying.
When teams are uneven to begin with, it's easier to stack teams and the only time the plugin switches you back is when you try to switch after being balanced. So if you're on midwest and you see "oh wow my team is 3 snipers and 3 spies. Better switch to the other team" there's literally nothing that's gonna stop you and at the end of the round it's gonna move a random person from the stacked team to the bad one.
ASIDE: Personally I don't see WHY we have a plugin that does autobalance at all. They added ingame features for that and scramble and running external plugins that do that bullshit is redundant and is part of why we're lagging out the server. We have too many plugins installed. I'm not sure what logic drives the "i'd rather have disco lights, goomba stomp, etc than a decent lag free game" but it's not my server so whatever.
I think we should take a vote. I'd way rather have 11 player balanced teams and have to wait that much longer to get in the server than have a perpetual 11 v 12 situation which is incredibly frustrating.
It would also be nice if we could CONSIDER that disabling replays increases the number of people who can enjoy the server which I feel is more significant than minorly increasing the amount of enjoyment a small percentage of replay making users.
TL;DR: now that teams are always uneven it's too easy to stack and we need to add a player slot or drop a player slot.
