SAR & Air to Air Frequencies Europe

I live in the south of Spain, and frequently see military and SAR aircraft performing searches in the Med Sea. What frequencies could they be using, potentially for coordination? I have tried 123.45, 122.75 and 243MHz but with no traffic.
Also what is the 'generally accepted' air to air frequency within Europe? Google doesn't give any useful results.
