So me and a couple friends have been picking up the laptop and the rtl periodically on tech night. I really want to gather satelite images how do I do this on the cheap. Im not poor I can spend 25$ 30$ on equipment but im kinda afraid the rtl sdr I have aint gonna do it. I have a nooelec.com NESDR Smart. Is that capabulnof doing what I want. Or do I need something else. we havd like four old satelite dishes between us. one we made work bojangels.

Also some time when we run it my waterfall is red is that normal or should it be blue?
