Usually when you type tibetan text (like this: བོད་སྐད), the font used is (automatically) Microsoft Himalaya. However, this does not seem to work in RStudio at all, whether in the editor or in the console. This is pretty inconvenient. I guess I can just convert texts to Wylie in Python then pass the results to R, but I'm not the biggest fan of Python, so I was wondering if there's any way I can set R up to support Microsoft Himalaya for Tibetan? (I can't find it under Editor Font in the settings.) Also, whatever the solution is, it shouldn't remove the support for Chinese text that RStudio currently has, as I need this as well. Thanks!
