I got interested in him after reading Hegel because he is the next big guy who was sorta influenced by Kant and Hegel. Also he had some influence on existentialism, which I liked. But I tried reading stanford wiki about him, and some lectures, and (and I don't usually say this) all of it seems very obvious phrased in a very complicated way. I know that sounds rude and very ignorant but I can't help but notice it. His idea that dasein is structured part of the world and cartesian dualism comes latter; and that dasein's acknowledgment of death gives it anxiety, and also the ability to find meaning in the world, all of this very uninteresting to me. (sorry if I misrepresented him or smth, feel free to correct me)
those who have read him, was he interesting, and is it worthwhile to read him? also, if possible, give reasons as to why
thanks!
