Description
The 100 Hack is a combination of traditional d100 system with GUMSHOE and the Lore System. It is meant to be compatible with d100 system games such as OpenQuest and others.
The main innovations to d100 type games are:
1) Lore Sheets (which are mechanically a little like Aspects in Fate)
2) See what players do with clues instead of rolling for them (like GUMSHOE). This is somewhat tied to a risk counter system (like Revolution 100, but basically a clock-like mechanic)
3) Just uses d10 dice but should be stat-block compatible with games like CoC, OpenQuest, Legend, etc.
Purpose
Thinking about putting out a commercial product of my setting (which has been Kickstarted and close to fulfillment) with a system related to traditional d100 systems, in order to appeal to other fans.
Game's Target Audience
People who like CoC/ BRP mechanics but are willing to try out third party products.
Feedback Focus
1) Does it differ too much or too little from other BRP / d100 game mechanics?
2) What is least clear in the instructions?
