How to publish nowadays?

This has probably been asked before a lot of times but.
I've been thinking about putting my ideas into words and make my own rpg manual.
I'd wish for it to be published and shared, and were it deemed to be worth it to be profitable and so on.
How to do that? Upload on itch.io and/or rpgdrivethrough?
Do people send their work to creators for it to be reviewed?
I'd like to have a channel or some way for people to be able to contact me and share my ideas and stuff related to my work.
