I am totally new to game development, but I want to create my own game

Post Body

So, after a few days searching for a good way to start game development, I found RPG Maker. I want to create my games for PC and I wanted to start with Unity or Unreal Engine, but both need a basic level of programing, which I don't have. For acquire some experience with game dev, I was recommended to start with RPG Maker, which requires less experience and no programing skills to create simple games.

I want to create a simple test game with the following characteristics:

  • 2D/Isometric 3D (maybe with view change)

  • Turn-based combat

  • 16 bit graphics

  • Story-driven

I am inspired by this game, called Exiled Kingdoms.

You guys can give me any tip, recommendation or advice?

Also, which is better for my project, MV or MZ?

*sorry for my english
