HDMI Out - Streaming and Charging

Has anyone been able to test outputting HDMI video from the device while also charging it? I am looking to stream Wild Rift from my phone (I have a USB - C to HDMI Splitter with USB Out for charging) but I am curious if people know if the new phone can output and charge simultaneously.
Will likely impact if I pick up this phone or not. Any insight appreciated!
