Why does it seem our past mistakes is the only thing people will see
Post Body

Yes we made mistakes, done things we aren't proud of. Things we wish we could change. But why can't people see that we are tryin. I mean it's step by step. Why does our past have to be who we are now even if it was a few months ago or yrs ago.

I literally asked for help for food in a group an people recognized me from an old group an started in on my mistakes I made things I'm not proud of. But they way they coming at me I feel attacked, it makes me feel disheartened an discouraged. I'm trying to do better like I had been. But it's like my past is the only thing they can see. Has anyone else endured this? Any encouragement or words of wisdom on how not to let them make me feel worse than I already do
