Tonight we had a trial run of an organized hot lap event, and it seemed to go pretty well. Despite no prizes or points on the line, we had a full lobby for most of the races. We ran six B-class races, and managed to chop 29 seconds off our cumulative circuit time. Also special congratulations are due to Nebraska805 and ChuckSkybeam for placing in the top 100 in B class at Nürburgring GP Short tonight!

We destroyed the previous club record in all six races tonight. Unfortunately this only moved us from #143 to #140 in B class circuit, but this was just a trial run. I'm pretty sure all of us who participated set some new personal bests, and in any case it was a lot of fun and good training. Next week we can either do D class to gain club rank (the club has no clean laps in D class on a few tracks), or something else if we want to just work on our fast driving skills.
