I purchased RDR2 after buying a new gaming computer because I heard it could be graphic intensive. I didn't realize how much I would love the game. Took me about 80 hours to beat the story, and I feel like I have so much random other things to complete.
What I didn't realize was how sad the story was going to be! I'll admit, people kept telling me that RDR1 was connected. I didn't understand how until I felt pretty unsatisfied about the epilogue ending with Micah dying and Dutch just leaving. I was like "WTF kind of ending is this?", so I started googling things to have a better understanding, learning that RDR1's story happens right after RDR2, and what the ending would be. Now I'm even more sad about all of my favorite characters dying, and John dying too! I'm sad to think that John's beautiful new life will end.
Gotta give credit where it's due: I didn't expect such an incredible sad story that would leave me feeling bummed after finishing it. Became one of my top favorite games easily.
