I’m school based but due to summer time I had a in house client and will fill in at the clinic when they need help (almost every week lol) the only problem is they don’t give you a break and they still expect you to have your clinic by your side the whole time. if you’re seen without your client they question you like you just committed a armed robbery. Our clinic is like a daycare but everyone is still 1/1( 7 kids 7 rbt plus the Bcba’s all in one classroom that’s not very big )I left my client with the lead rbt so i could help clean up the group activity I was right outside of the classroom door and a Bcba nearly had a heart attack because my client who literally puts everything in his mouth wasn’t standing next to me while i cleaned up sand which he would 1000 percent fight me for it.
My company gives one 10 min paid break for every 8 hours worked. And the break is never at the same time every day. It actually sucks. We also only get a 30 min meal break if we work 8 hours and it’s always unpaid

That’s so wild. We don’t get the meal break exactly because of said elopement issues (and the company being cheap lol)
