In the late 80's, I attended the Canadian National Exhibition with my brother, and they had an awesome ride/attraction called Tank Tag. It was a small enclosure, maybe about a half acre, with netting all around. In the arena were two-person tanks - about the size of a golf cart, maybe, with a driver's seat and a turret.
The turret was armed with a pneumatic cannon that fired squash balls. The 'gunner' would load the cannon by hand and fire at the targets located on the other tanks. If you struck the target mounted on the turret, that gun would not function for a few seconds. If you hit the target on the body of the tank, it would disable the motor for a similar period of time.
This was an AWESONE game. SO much fun. But I've googled up, down, left and right and can't find anyone who even REMEMBERS this thing, let alone knows where to find it today.
Does this sound familiar to anybody?
