Fender Bender yesterday - Guy who hit us had disconnected his phone number among other things...
Post Body

I was in the car with my mother when a 21 year old hit us from behind yesterday afternoon in Southern California. We're trying to get all the insurance worked out but the telephone number the guy gave us isn't in service anymore.

We didn't call the police because no one was hurt and he seemed to be cooperating at the time, however when we got home and reviewed the pictures we realized that the ID we took a picture of is a California issued ID card rather than a driver's license. The title of the car wasn't in his name and he didn't have insurance paperwork on him.

Is there anything we should be proactively doing in the meantime?
