Hey guys. I've been wrapping dual coils for a while now. I use Sony 30A 18650 batteries and typically shoot for about 1.2 or 1.4 ohms on the build using micro coils with 28 gauge kanthal and ekowool. I felt like experimenting and just built my first quad coil with micro coils using 32 gauge kanthal and cotton. It is coming out to 1 ohm on my provari and 1.2 ohms on my multimeter. I had always been under the impression that dual coils halved/quad coils quartered the overall resistance so that my dual coils would be running 0.6 or 0.7 overall and that this quad coil would be running at 0.25 or 0.3. However, this build is not performing like I would expect a low resistance build to perform. Any input or advice?
