RSST with XC-116, having some issues with my build, any help is appreciated.
Post Body

Just built this and have a few questions, I don't think this coil is performing optimally. This is only my second coil build, so I appreciate any advice.

Coil is reading 1.6 ohms, it's a 5 wrap (not sure how the pros would describe it, is it a 5/6?). Seems to be vaping OK, not great though.

The bottom of the coil does not seem to glow as well as the middle/top. I know with SS a short would explain this, but seeing as this is ceramic, I'm at a loss. I've pushed the coil around and it doesn't seem to help, even moved the coil to the other side of the bottom post, no change.

Also, there is some soot buildup where the bottom of the coil wont light. There was some around the rest of the coil at first, but it went away after correctly firing. What does this mean, and explanation?

This is currently firing on a Sigelei #20 with a AW IMR 18650 2000 mAh, with an upgraded hot spring.

Also, when I was testing the coil to see if it was heating evenly, it seemed to easily catch fire... Is this dangerous? I'd assume with the RSST top cap on, there's not enough air to allow this to happen, nor would I fire it that long.

Thanks for any help
