I might be the only one but does anyone else bring carding supplies while traveling? I’m on vacation this week and I tried to bring the bare minimum to card. I was wondering what people bring to card while traveling? Here’s what I brought.
2 sets of washi and a sticker book were a must! I brought postcards from my last trip to work on until I got postcards on this trip. A set of notecards because I had this nagging feeling of “what if I happen to need to send a card?” (Which turns out I actually needed one!). A purple and pink pen, stamps, and heart stickers.
Now here’s where I got a little crazy. Since this is the first time traveling with kids, I knew we would be home early almost every night and thought I would have time to make cards at least once. For this I brought a preprepared card kit with matching stickers, paper and ephemera. This made it so much easier than trying to figure out what went together. I also brought blank cards, ruler, travel scissors, tape, adhesive gems and foam mounts. I was able to fit everything nicely into a couple of travel containers.
Turns out I do have the time at night to card but not the energy. Omg, having two little ones on vacation is a lot of work. I think I’ll get my vacation postcards out but not make anything.
Does anyone else try to card while traveling? What do you bring?
