In the 2 years I've been on raoc now I see requests for Birthday cards regularly. However 90% of the time they are from people who haven't been on this sub before.

And don't get me wrong, I love sending strangers some birthday cheer. But I kind of wish more flaired users would post Birthday requests as well.

I love this community and you guys supported me with your lovely mail and messages all the time. And I wish I could show my appreciation for that in the form of a Birthday card. Since imo cards are the highlight of Birthdays ;)

I spoke to other raoc'ers before on this topic and they often say that they feel bad for requesting cards but often are happy after they did post a request.

So I guess this is me just trying to say to you all: If you're okay with receiving Birthday mail, don't hesitate to put up a request! I promise you there are plenty of us who get really happy if they get to send out happy mail!
