...because I'm heading back home in six to eight weeks! It feels like almost yesterday that I was writing cards from my room at a quarantine facility and now I'm on my last couple of weeks here. I spend some afternoons feeling a bit sentimental but I also can't wait to see my dogs again!

Many of you have sent me cards in return for some of my offers so just in case anyone plans to send me anything in the next couple of weeks, please send it to my address in the Philippines instead! In my experience, only mail from Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and US arrive within a month and while I'm sure the staff at the language center would be willing to forward cards to me in case any arrives after I leave, I'd rather not cause them any inconvenience as they're usually pretty busy (but I definitely plan on asking them about it if I'm still missing some cards on my last week here!)
