What are the things you have learnt the most about posting / mailing things in your country, either domestically or internationally?

Hey!

I thought I might start a little thread with some tips that I’ve learnt and read about what you guys have learnt. Especially if there are any newcomers to RAoC, this might be quite helpful.

From the UK, I’ve learnt:

  • literally never to send anything without someone’s chosen name (e.g. not Reddit username) as 100% of the time it will be returned otherwise
  • mail to India and China for me always has a much higher rate of being returned, even if I print the address - sometimes I think I’m better off using the Royal Mail click and drop service…

Those are the major ones I can think of at the moment.
