So I got a card today, it is very pretty, has some extra goodie such as stickers, blank postcards and of course the card is handmade but....it doesn't have one word written on it anywhere! Who is this from? What are they trying to say? Who do I thank? LOL, then I remembered u/beanutputtersammich messaged me to say they wrote out a note and forgot to include it in the envelope before sealing it. I checked the return address and sure enough this was it.
I don't mind, I had a good chuckle and I love everything in the envelope. Sometimes silence speaks louder than words.
Have you ever done this? Sent or received a card where you forgot to write something? Or sent it to the wrong person, (looking at you u/mikepenpal6 and u/stephkempf) perhaps mention goodies you included but forgot to include them? Don't feel bad, you are not alone.
