Hey folks! I read the guidelines to the meta subreddit, but let me know if this isn’t allowed. I usually stay in the main subreddit rather than here.
After sending postcards and cards for a year, I managed to get approval from my journalism professor to do a video report/project about sending postcards (as a hobby, with some weight during the pandemic), and I’m still open for interviews. It’s essentially talking about how long you’ve been sending cards, how you feel about the hobby, sharing any stories from carding or personal favorites, and promoting love for snail mail in general (who doesn’t want to do that?).
I posted this on r/PostcardExchange a week ago, got a few responses, but I suppose it would hurt to get more (even though the actual assignment is 2-3 minutes long, but it’s nice to work with a lot). I already made a doc detailing the project and open interview times (spent like an hour figuring out time zones 0_o) and sent them to my current subjects.
So if anyone is interested in the project and fine being on video, let me know. I’ll either message you the doc or link it.
