Anyone else too much of a perfectionist with their cards?
Post Body

I'm trying to move away from my card perfectionist tendencies and was just wondering if anyone else had a similar struggle? Like, I know it's perfectly fine to send cards out with quirks and imperfections, but I almost always wind up redoing the card because it bothers me too much.

I sometimes completely redo a card if I don't like how my brush lettering comes out. A single dog hair found its way under a piece of washi? Better redo that section of washi. My ink wasn't dry and I now have a bunch the ink on my hand/smears in the card? Redo. I once tried to reposition a stamp up to better align with the corner and wound up taking half the envelope with it when I tried to gently peel it up (which did require redoing the envelope).

I'd love to hear others' mishaps for a chuckle (if nothing else to know I'm not the only one that does this).

I'm pretty proud of myself today - I wrote out a message, did some lettering and included some doodles in a card only to realize afterwards that it was upside down in the card! Instead of redoing the whole thing, I just wrote "oops, had my glasses on upside down today!" (if this is your card, I apologize in advance but hope it gives you a chuckle)! It was a struggle to drop it in the mail, but I'm going to try to take this approach going forward, haha.
