what would you do with this situation:

I wanted to send a card to someone who posted a request. They send me their address, I wrote the card, but when I went to write down the address I noticed it was formatted weird, so I wasn't sure how to write it down correctly. I messaged them asking about it, but I have not gotten an answer.

Now I don't want to guess the address and send it if the person requesting it doesn't want the card anymore, but I don't know what to do with the card - throwing it away seems like a waste, I really like the card… What would you do? Would you offer it to someone else despite it being written for someone specifically, and has their name written on it? That feels wrong as well :/
