I was browsing ebay for some cheaper worldwide stamps (found some under £1 each, brand new, bought them all lol) since the recent price increases have been a bit annoying for sending cards internationally. I may actually need to do more UK to UK offers soon.
Anyway, on my search, I came across this! Worldwide stamps in 1987 were 26p ($0.34)!
Dang, if only worldwide stamps were as cheap as that these days :|
According to an inflation calculator I used online, those stamps SHOULD BE 77p ($1.00) today :(
But alas, here we are. £1.45 ($1.89) for an international postcard now
