As some of you may or may not know, I'm currently studying Computer Science and I'm trying to create more personal projects for my portfolio and my own benefit. I've been coding for a while but haven't done much with it.

I just got into web development and I was thinking of creating a simple site for myself when it came to postcard exchanges. Users would be given a link and they could choose which postcard they would like from my album and also submit their address within the site.

Is this a bad idea? good? too much?

I thought that if this perhaps took off I could even create sites for other people (for free) as a way to practice and maybe do some good for others.
