Note: I'm US-based, so I hope this helps clarify when I'm talking about stores & using freedom units.

I've dabbled in making envelopes out of my 48-50 sheet scrapbook pads as I get tired of using the same paper for scrapbooking purposes. I use a paper scorer, but I bought one with a 65% off coupon when AC Moore was still open (as they're closing all stores now), and it gave me measurements & instructions on how to score & cut my paper to make envelopes. With trimming my 12"x12" paper to size, I have a lot scrap sheets.

Is this worth randomly including (not mentioning in an offer/exchange) when I send my cards out? or should I note in my post that I am including some strips of paper in ranging in thicknesses of 1"-3" (2.47-7.62cm)? Will you crafters give a home to these pretty scrap sheets that I can cut down to fit a 5"x7" (12.7x17.78cm) large card size or fit a 4"x6" (10.16x15.24cm) postcard size?

Yes, mailing my smaller envelopes within a larger envelope does put me over 1 oz. easily (AKA non-machineable charges), so I want to fill my envelopes with an extra blank postcard, stickers, and hopefully pretty paper strips if people would use them to maximize the money I'm spending on stamps. I've utilized most of my scrap strips on my homemade postcards and intertwined my washi tape to make it look more cohesive... but it's... so much, ):

This came to mind because in my recent mail-out, I did include a smaller envelope as many of my card recipients always compliment my envelopes, so I figured to send a fresh envelope with it, eheh. With this came a bunch of the scrap strips, and the paper is pretty... so it's hard to stomach throwing it away.

(I got my scrapbook pads at Michael's this week because they're doing a buy 1, get 2 free promotion, so I essentially bought 3 scrapbook pads for $20.)
