I’m not a morning person
7am: big crack of thunder. Like massive. Like bigger than your loud crack of thunder. That shit was LOUD. It kind of scared / startled me. I don’t usually get scared because of thunder. I go back to sleep. It is raining cats and dogs outside though.
7:10am: Amber Alert gets sent out and really really startles and scares me..... There’s a flash flood warning until 11:15am.
I dropped a TON of outgoing mail into the mailbox yesterday. It’s like a neighborhood mailbox with a little opening to slip mail in but is covered with a piece of metal? Idk how to explain it but it looks like this. The wind is blowing.... it’s pouring.... you think my outgoing mail is wet? I’m sad :(
Also I have to drive to work in half an hour and really haven’t gone out in flash flood weather before so I have no idea what to do. I’ll update later.
I hope that my cards aren’t wet and that they arrive to their recipients safely though. I was thinking about holding off on dropping them in the mailbox because of the rain but I also wanted the cards to be picked up as soon as possible.
