I make 95% of the cards I send and include personal extras (a sticker based on the recipientās interest, a playlist for a certain mood, etc.) and often when Iām waiting for glue to dry, Iāll move onto another card. Multitasking at its finest!
It works great untilā¦ I dropped off a few cards at the post office yesterday and when I got home, realized I could have packaged up and sent off a āfeel betterā card I had finished. Well, the only finished card sitting on my desk was a birthday card - the one I THOUGHT I sent off just minutes ago. This means that someone who is ready and excited to celebrate their birthday is about to receive a āHope you feel better soon!ā card decorated with pictures of sick cartoon animals inside instead.
I guess this is what I get for trying to do too many things at once. š I just hope nobody minds! I reached out to them and apologized already, but seriously, I need to slow down sometimes. Has anyone else accidentally done this?
(Also, one of those cards I sent off is going to randomly receive the birthday playlist I madeā¦ I canāt find it anywhere, so it means I mixed it up too! š¤£)
