Seeking budget friendly/thrifty tips to giving rats everything they need
Post Body

A friend of mine is moving rather far and asked me to foster her rats until they find a forever home. Surprise. I am the forever home.

I’m a young 20-something who spends next to nothing on hobbies, takeout, and alcohol so I’m confident I have the means. However, I want to minimize the strain these babies put on me, so I can be the best mom possible.

My brother and I had 2 rats as kids but our parents fronted the cost because they’re “cheaper” than dogs and they wanted us to bond over them lol

How do ya’ll save money? Buy in bulk? Find stuff at Goodwill? DIY?

I’m all ears (eyes)
