Post Body

First time having rats, got these boys yesterday from a local breeder. Trying to give them some space to adjust, I was wondering how long y’all’s rats took to warm up to you?

When I put my hand up to the cage they sometimes nibble my finger and then run away. I don’t wanna rush them or get bitten, even tho I was able to pick them up into and out of the box when I got them from the breeder. I also don’t wanna risk them getting loose since if they get out of my room there’s currently 2 dogs and a cat in the house. I have a play pen on the way
